AlixeArts Upcycled Art As Oscar Wilde said: “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”

With my upcycled clothing and accessories, I am trying to do my part to help.

Mass produced clothing is so generic. I love to start with a plain garment, such as a jacket and transform it into a unique piece of artwear with needle felting, embroidery and beads. By using many thrifted materials I am happy to help reduce some of the waste that is generated in our world.

Learn a new craft in October! I am teaching four beginning needle felting classes at Hobby Lobby. Classes are on Saturdays, Oct. 8, 15, 22, and 29, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. There is a different project each week. There is a sign up sheet at the Hobby Lobby store, or contact me at [email protected]. The cost is $32.00 each class. Needle felting is an easy to learn, versatile craft, ideal for holiday season gifts and home décor.
