To this day, going to A&M holds a spot in the “top 5 best decisions” I have ever made. Possibly top 3.
Picture the quintessential college experience - I had it. Lived in a house with my best friends. Our group of guys lived all together a few streets down. We did all the college things, all the time, all together. North gate, themed parties, Spring Break in Panama City, Thanksgiving (back when A&M played TU) even driving to the beach on a whim to watch the sunrise. One summer, all the boys crashed in our living room for a few weeks between apartments. It was kind of like a real life version of Friends. I was never alone and never felt unsafe.
11 years out and I’m older and wiser and slightly more mentally and emotionally stable. But I’ve yet to pull out a memory and not smile. Get us started and I promise we could tell stories for DAYS. And don’t think for one minute it is lost on me how special and rare that is.
The very last month I lived in college station I saw this cute guy at work. I was giving All. The. Right. Signs. and still. He never asked me out.
If you know me, then you know - I was like well forget this - and asked him out myself. Spoiler Alert: He’s daddy to the babe in this pic 😉❤️💍
Football season is nostalgic for me. I went to all the games but really just liked all my people all together. And it’s the same today.
Game Day Bows? I’m all in. All the feels. All the memories. Never not grateful.

🤎The First. Post. Of Fall.🤎
Yes my baby is an entire year younger here. But this was one of those “marks you forever” moments. And this time it was nothing special. We were just in that sweet spot of 15-18 months old where the 2 year old insanity of independence hadn’t kicked in. She was an absolute angel and the absolute sweetest thing on earth 💎
Don’t get me wrong. She still is. But now we got the fire and tantrums and “NO. I do it.” Battles on the reg. And it’s right and good and in its correct time.
But this day. This day was for the books 💕
