October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Kate and Ellie are sitting down for a chat about their personal experiences with breast cancer and are sharing some resources for those who are interested. Please be sure to do regular breast self-exams (this goes for everyone who has breast tissue...women aren’t the only ones who develop breast cancer), go to your annual checkups, and schedule your screening mammograms per your doctor’s recommendation. Being aware of your body and reaching out to a medical professional at any signs of something new/unusual occurring can be crucial for early detection!
