I know it doesn’t seem like much of a difference, but we’ve been working so hard getting the new space ready for move-in. Every day brings us one step closer. Some of you have honked as you saw me working hard out there in the heat as you drove by. Thank you for cheering me on! We’re almost finished with the exterior so we can shift our focus to the much bigger project—the inside! We decided not to paint the interior walls before opening after all. As much as we wanted to, time just isn’t on our side. We’ll get to that once we’re settled in.
Next on the to-do list: wash the awning, scuff it, prime it, and paint it. (I’m honestly a little terrified of painting it, but if there’s one thing this whole move has taught me, it’s that growth usually starts on the other side of doing something scary.)
Next week brings some major repairs, and if all goes well, we’ll finally install our sign! 🤞
We’re hoping for an August 1st opening, but that’s definitely an optimistic goal. There are still a lot of moving pieces, and we’ll definitely keep you posted it.
