A little sparkle, a whole lot of joy 💎

Yesterday was a picture-perfect fall morning for the Gemstone Sparkle Sprint 5K! The weather was just as beautiful as the energy, smiles, and feel-good finish line moments. Nothing shines brighter than a community coming together to move.

Thank you Brooks Running for your support!

Every race has a starting line.

As we look ahead to the 50th anniversary of the Ridgefield Road Fest, we’re looking back at the people, places, and friendships that shaped its history through the memories of Thomas Kimball – a longtime Ridgefield Half athlete and CT Run Co. customer.

Thomas’s family connection to Ridgefield running began in 1979, when his father met John Dugdale at Yanity Gym and found his way into the Wolfpit Running Club. What started as informal weekend runs laid the foundation for one of Connecticut’s most beloved races.

Swipe through for more of Thomas’s story and a look back at the community spirit that has kept Ridgefield running for nearly 50 years.
