Join us at Etta Vintage for an intimate evening of creativity as we turn vintage matchbooks into tiny framed stories. Inspired by our love of rescued ephemera and nostalgic details, this hands-on workshop invites you to transform collected matchbooks into a one-of-a-kind 8” x 8” shadowbox.
Each ticket includes:
• 8” × 8” shadowbox frame
• A curated selection of vintage matchbooks + matches
• All tools and materials (glue, scissors, backing, etc.)
• A cocktails / mocktails to sip while you create
No experience necessary. We’ll guide you through layering, composition, and storytelling techniques so your finished piece feels personal, artful, and uniquely yours.
An evening of nostalgia, design, and slow creativity.

‘Sunrise’ by Erté (Romain de Tirtoff) - the father of art deco serigraph or print. Gorgeous original textured matting and black frame. New glass and backing. Unsigned.

Found at a gorgeous estate of an art collector in NY. ~1980’s, likely a signed serigraph that was cut for the dramatic framing effect.

The bold geometry, organic movement, and warm metallic tones of this piece reflect the artist’s signature visual language and enduring influence on 20th-century design.
