We know it’s become a running joke that Letty is always late.
She’ll say, “I’m getting on early tonight!” and then somehow “early” turns into an hour or two later.
Trust me, I know. I’m usually sitting right here watching it happen.
But I also want everyone to understand something.
Before Letty is the owner of Letty’s Unique Boutique, she is a wife and a mom.
We still have kids with homework, school projects, things they need help with, chores around the house, errands that have to get done, dinner, family responsibilities and everything else that comes with normal life.
And sometimes... life be lifing.
Last night she went to bed at almost 4:00 in the morning and was back up around 7:00 or 8:00 this morning.
I help her as much as I can, but I also work a demanding full-time job, and there are times when I simply can’t help her as much as she needs.
What most people don’t see is how much she tries to squeeze into every single day.
She puts completely unrealistic expectations on herself because she wants to be there for “her girls.” She wants the LIVE to happen. She wants your messages answered. She wants your orders handled. She wants everything ready. She wants everyone taken care of.
And if something at home needs her first, she handles that too.
So yes, when Letty says she’s going LIVE early, feel free to take that prediction with a grain of salt. 😂
We can laugh about it. We laugh about it too.
But just remember there’s usually a reason she’s running behind, and most of the time it’s because she was busy being Mom, Wife, Letty... before she ever got the chance to be “Letty from LUB.”
She’s juggling a lot.
She’s tired.
She’s trying.
And no matter how late that LIVE starts, somehow she still shows up for her girls.
So when she says, “I’ll be on early tonight”...
Just smile, tell her “Sure you will, Letty,” and give the woman a little grace. 😂
We LUB you all.
