Storey Girl Designs I make mostly dance wear - leotards, costumes, leggings. I also make dresses, skirts and activewear. It just kind of grew from there.

I rarely have on hand items as I like to custom make my items. If you are interested in a custom made item please message me. My Story of how Storey Girl Designs came about

I started originally making tutus for my 2 little girls about 2 years ago. I then started making them for my friends and family who were pregnant or had little girls. I started making costumes because of a friend who asked me

to make one for her little girl. I had a very close friend ask me to make her 4 flower girl tutu dresses for her daughter's wedding as well. I have always loved to sew costumes for my oldest daughter (now 7 yrs old) because I didn't like how generic the in store costumes look to me. I like to be as close to the "real" character as possible, so I started making my daughters' costumes for the last 7 years (though I don't sell those costumes). I figured since I love sewing for each of them and seeing them in the items I create, I would sew and sell too. Every item I make is handmade so no two are exactly alike. I am always learning about fabric, new patterns and designs. We love to vacation and both of my daughters are in dance and tumbling so this helps out with those things. My items also "Meet CPSC Safety Regulations". I am glad that I could share a little bit of my WHY and story of how Storey Girl Designs came to be.

This incredible dancer is Isaac 💙 I’ve had the joy of costuming him since he was little, and it’s been so special watching him grow—not just in his talent, but in his creativity each season.

This year, I created a 3-piece suit for him that he wore at Nationals last summer and again for YAGP this season, along with the blue costume for his current solo. Seeing him bring these pieces to life on stage is always such a rewarding experience.

I can’t wait to see what ideas he has in store for his solo at Nationals this summer!

This is sweet Liv. This year, she performed a tap solo to Michael Jackson and wanted a costume that captured his iconic style—with her own twist of choosing shorts instead of pants. I absolutely love how it turned out, and her mom did an incredible job stoning the costume. It really made it shine on stage. Thank you for having me create a costume that Liv not only looks amazing on stage in but she loves as well.
