The 2025 Florida State 4-H Dairy show was few weeks ago- again I donated the quilt that was awarded to the Challenger(Adult) showmanship winner- I love the cute Holstein fabric I found although I wish I had some Brown Swiss as the winner loves her Swisses!!!

This week I am volunteering at the Southeast Dairy Youth Retreat…. It is a gathering of 4-H and FFA students from across the southern states interested in the dairy cattle program. We are staying near the University of Florida campus- we are touring a dairy, the vet school, world equestrian center, swimming at a state park spring and lots of clinics. I made some items for prizes and designed the logo I used in these items. I made “medals” for prizes and hats with leather patches for raffle items.

Annual quilt for the State 4-H dairy show- this was for 2023 and this was the 75th anniversary show- quilt was done in green and 4-H fabric and had the show logo embroidered. For some reason I didn’t get a full picture of the quilt. 🤣

Trophies and swag bag items for the Hillsborough County Fair Dairy show. The document bags went in the exhibitor swag bags with all the important document and forms for the fair. Custom signs for the adult showmanship winners, padfolio with leather patch for judging winners and all the breed class winners got a coasters.

I know it’s been awhile since I posted- I had a lengthy Illness, a wedding and just life got in the way…. So time to do a project dump and show what I’ve been up to- even though I haven’t posted I’ve stayed busy with DWS stuff! So here goes…..
