My sister is both a nurse and part of the ‘Nurse Honor Guard’, which is nurses honoring fallen nurses in funerals and other ceremonies. She was doing a fundraiser and had this idea so I jumped on board. The dolls are dressed in the traditional honor guard uniform. Pretty cool, right?

It’s jacket time!!

Very happy to make all the grands new jackets! Each one is unique, but similar, just like cousins 😉

There is a reversible one, some are lined, all different but cozy fabrics depending on the personality of the grand, even glow in the dark fabric, I practiced a new technique on one, repurposed some fabric here and there. It was tons of fun, they all like them so I’m calling it a success!

(Not pictured, new baby Harvey who will get the jacket I made for his big brother a couple years ago, until we decide what kind of jacket he needs for his personality 😁)

So you were a bridesmaid in your friend’s wedding and it’s been hanging in your closet, because let’s be honest, you aren’t going to wear it again…. Then you learn the happy news! She is expecting a baby! Yay! Hmmmm, now for a special gift….. here’s a brilliant idea brought to me; create a stuffie from your bridesmaid dress that you wore in her wedding for her child! What full circle beautiful memory gift!

Now you have a great reason to keep that gown!
