These were so hard to make for me. 😭 The pink especially - it took me SO long to find a thread that matched the beads. I finally settled on literal sewing thread held triple.

I still have neon orange and green just like these! They're a lot heavier than other earrings I make but they're so worth the sparkle.

Crochet friends - do you combine any other crafting skills (like beading) with your crochet work? I wanna see how other folks use their creative skills!

I almost like metallics more than neons...

But not by much because the metallic threads are rough on the fingers. 🤣

More neon! This time in green! 💚 Seriously, there's something about summer that makes the bright colors just feel so much prettier.

Maybe it's because they really pop against tan skin. 😍

Pretty sure these are still in my stash! I need to do an inventory clearing sale. I have sooo much left from last summer!!

A day late, unblocked and full of ends. 🤣 But I did get it done in a week!

I meant to style + post yesterday, but we ended up having an impromptu get together with the neighbors and that was way more important to me.

Once the ends are sewn in and I decide whether or not to add a fringe, I'll style and get some pics because the back is PERFECTION. I'm really proud of this design - it went from being 'just' a granny square top to a structural masterpiece of mine. I let it flow and it turned out better than expected.

The last week has been bonkers with playtesting starting for AlterMage, but I did manage to finish the squares for the new festival top! 😍

We've been going to bed late after finishing gameplay videos for the game and getting up early to monitor socials... Plus the kiddo and I have been trying to keep with our running schedule. It's a lot. I'm tired.

Worth it, but exhausting. 🥱

I've still been finding time to sit with my hook, even if it's just 30 minutes. I've got a handful of half finished projects going but this one has taken priority because LOOK 👀 at the colors!

It'll be perfect for all the summer fun.

🧶 There's 8 squares - three for front, three for back, and two for the sides. Now we seam the squares, make some straps and add the fringe!

I think I might finish off the fringe ends with some beads but I haven't decided if gold or silver would be better. 🤔 Opinions?

Well, Kate No Spades posted the granny square top I made her a few years ago, so now I need to make another one!

I had this colorway in my stash and it called to me! 😍 Let me know if you wanna claim this top and I'll rush to finish it for all those summer time parties.

Ooooh maybe I can get a red, white and blue one done for fourth of July!!
