Hey y'all-
Few things I wanted to talk about that occurred to me over the weekend:
First off- sincerely THANK YOU from the absolute bottom of my heart. Thank you for supporting me and this crazy ass idea that I had. Without the support, I'm a dude with a crap load of t-shirts that I can't wear
Secondly- F**k AI. It is lazy and if you truly support your friends, you won't use it. Every single design has been original artwork from the crazy mind of Casy Diaz, with the exception of two, the OGT was created by Ryan Wirth and the Wild Boar Head was created by Danny Leal from Upon A Burning Body. I understand AI is here and will be here BUT that does mean you have to use it. Spend the $10 or $15 and have someone create a flyer for you. I promise your creative friends will appreciate it more than know.
Thirdly- If you come up to me just to tell me how expensive my stuff is, save it. I know my shirts are on the higher side. I sell them for $30 in person and $35 online to help with shipping costs. I make between $8 and $10 a shirt. That's it. My shirts are quality, long lasting and comfy as hell. I have shirts that have lasted a couple of years and they've only cracked because of the well water. You are paying for designs I can guarantee you won't see anywhere else. The designs this guy was selling I've seen the exact same thing on three or four other lines.
Fourth- Trucks and Mayhem is going to be EPIC as hell. I have some cool surprises for you. Message any of the bands for pre-sale tickets. August 8th over at Photo City Music Hall. There will be a brand new design that will be event only available
Fifth and finally- Will all the love, effort, dedication and success I've achieved with this brand, I'm slowly getting burnt out and I don't want to lose my passion for this. I will forever be Country Heavy and the Heavymetal Cowboy but i need to reassess. With that being said, Country Heavy the clothing line is going on a hiatus BUT Country Heavy, the name will be back stronger, heavier, and more badass than ever. I have some ideas in the work and some ideas I want to pursue.
