Many of you may already know that we had a break-in in the middle of the night on Thursday. A group of men stole the majority of our merchandise. We are devastated, but we will figure out. We love Rochester. We love the SouthWedge. We love our customers, so many who have become our friends.
We started this business with a dollar and a dream. Before FOMO we were struggling glass artists who adopted old dogs and stray cats. Although we sell luxury items, we are modest hardworking people. We are not rich, we just sell nice things. We just lost everything we’ve worked for in the blink of an eye. Our insurance doesn’t cover theft because of a previous break-in. We have security gates, a security system and all the things we thought would protect us.
We really believe in selling pre-owned, sustainable, quality goods. Our 5 year anniversary is in a couple weeks and we were in the process of moving to a larger location. But all of that is on hold. We want to come back better than ever, so we need your help.
If you have items to sell, now is the time. Help us rebuild by selling us those pieces you don’t use anymore. We need you to come shop with us. We need you to tell a friend about our Instagram and our fun store. We need you to repost one of our reels showcasing our store. We need a review on Google or Yelp. We know everyone is struggling with something, and we are always trying to lend a hand. We could use your hand right now. We love you all! Take care of each other!
