✨ A REFLECTION ✨
I want to reflect on the 2024 election. This election showed us that the U.S. may never have a female President; at least not in our lifetime. It showed us that the majority of men feel superior to the rest of us. It showed us that marginalized groups are so used to being oppressed; that it feels safer to continue to be. It feels safer than betting on a woman. Voting for a white man will not make you more white; especially to him. The 2024 election showed us that people had a deep seated hatred for Obama during his two terms and they are never going to let a person of color back into the White House again anytime soon. The 2024 election highlighted the fact that the American dream doesn’t apply to all of us. And what is that American dream now, lower gas prices? I will continue on, being a mother, a business owner and a teacher who believes the lower and middle class will always deserve more. I will continue to stand for joy, progress, health, the environment and treating people with respect. I will not stand for the inverse. I will cancel those that justify hate and racism through the idea of patriotism, with no exceptions. I will delete those that mock the Most High and this country by worshiping this tyrannical, idol. We must keep going. Try to gain your clarity in positive ways. Try to continue standing for what is right in your every day life. It won’t be easy, but it is necessary.❤️

Hey loves, I use mostly donated supplies for my sewing instruction. Donations from the community make it possible for me to invest in harder to acquire items for my students. The basic sewing supplies are what I’m looking to have donated. Anything helps and is appreciated. If I can’t use the items, I get them to people who can. Little if anything goes to waste at my studio. Here is a list of the items you may be able to help with. Please don’t buy new if possible. Use this as an opportunity to de-stash.
