It's a 120-year old survivor! Not pristine but still stunning!
These cranberry glass and sterling lattice vases were produced by Alvin during the period where the flower motifs of Art Nouveau were at the height. Alvin itself was considered a comparative competitor to Tiffany in their production of fine decorative items.
Gorham acquired Alvin and assets in 1928, but Alvin was such a prominent and well-regarded name in the fine glass market that it retained its individual branding and production catalog.
