specializes in the design, manufacturing, and retailing of sigma six grade bespoke custom clothing. Adriano Roberti, our founder, made a promise to himself in 1964 when he started his company. After working alongside and witnessing superb craftsmen shape cloth into fine garments with such simple tools as a scissors, needle, thread, tailors’ chalk, and a hot iron, Adriano decided that the most important element in his company would be his personnel-craftsmen with the skill to produce a garment using only the basic tailoring implements. One of the things we’ve always admired about Mario is how much goes into a shoe before it ever looks like a shoe.

Bespoke shoemaking starts with the foot itself. Its shape, proportions, arch, and the way the client stands and walks all influence how the shoe is created.

From there comes the last, leather selection, construction, and all of the finishing work that gives a handmade shoe its character.

Mario learned the craft in Florence and continues a tradition of Italian shoemaking where the person wearing the shoe is just as important as the design.

It’s a completely different process from buying a shoe based on your usual size, and one we always enjoy getting to share with our clients when Mario visits Adrian Jules.

Eight days until Fashion Week of Rochester, and we’re bringing back something my grandfather started. 🌹

Our founder, Adriano, used to put red roses on all his garments. For this year’s show, we’re bringing those roses back to our lapels. It’s a detail I’m proud to carry forward and a way to have a little of him there with us.

We’re also stopping by our friends at Kittleberger’s for red roses for our step and repeat backdrop.

At the final fitting, we check how the jacket sits, how the pants fall and how everything feels when he moves. It’s also a chance to see the whole look come together before the celebration.

Since 1964, Adrian Jules has had the privilege of dressing grooms for a day they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. It’s a privilege we never take lightly.
