I am a self-taught gramma who recently retired and now finds herself with plenty of spare time to help you complete your special quilt. I use cuddly, soft minky backing to make your quilt warm and super cozy. I feature fast turn around and one-on-one service. My computerized HandiQuilter Forte can handle any size quilt with ease and precision. I have access to 1000's of digital quilt patterns to m
ake each quilt as unique as the memories it represents. Contact me to discuss pricing. LONGARM QUILTING SERVICES
I use Stitch In Time 80/20 batting (White Only) and Superior Omni thread. Substitutions can be made at your expense. Any digital pattern in my extensive library is included; however, if you love a pattern that I don't have, I would be happy to use it and will only charge you one half of the cost of the download. Quilt prep prior to sending it to me is essential. Iron all seams flat, trim excess loose threads and square up your quilt. The backing material needs to be at least 8" wider and longer than your quilt top. Please use at least a 1/2" seam allowance for the backing and press the seam open. Ideally, the backing seam runs from the top to bottom of your quilt. (I love using the 108" wide backing fabric many shops offer.) I will give the top and backing a quick press prior to loading. To get started, purchase the quilt size closest to your quilt's exact measurements. I will then contact you with mailing info and answer any initial questions you may have. You will be responsible to shipping costs both ways. Once I receive your quilt, I will contact you again to choose a design pattern and thread color for your masterpiece. Additional services would need to be confirmed at this point. Trimming $20
Binding (machine applied) $.40 per linear inch plus the cost of fabric
Non-cotton backing $10 surcharge
Centering quilt top on backing $25 surcharge
I understand the commitment a special project takes as well as the love that is sewn in to every quilt. I will treat your quilt as the work of art that it is. Your quilt will be my priority, and I will do my very best to get it back in the mail to you within one week of receipt. By making this purchase you understand and agree that sometimes during the quilting process there will be inherent stretching, uneven seams and at times puckers in the material. I promise to do my very best but please understand that on occasion stitches may get skipped. I do not take responsibility for mishaps that occur during the quilting process as a result of stretching, seams that aren't flat, puckers in the material, popped seams and a quilt that has been poorly assembled. No refunds will be offered if you do not like the final result regarding your thread color choice and/or pattern design.
