There is a thrift store down the street from me that I have a love/hate relationship with. Whoever manages the store will quite literally look up the resale value on items being donated and sell it at the re-sale price. We are talking hundreds of dollars! BUT they can also have unique finds. OK, I'm done with my rant😵‍💫.

Let's now pay attention to this cutie! I stumbled across her at the thrift store that I just finished ranting on 🤣.

I love the detail, she was made with love by someone and this is not a production piece. You can find her and many other purses in my curated purse collection at Back Alley Market in DeKalb on 09/26/26.

I went to an estate sale in the early part of August. Immediately I knew the person who once lived there was Italian, I mean how could I not since I myself am Italian 😀. I bought a handful of beautiful purses and brought them home to give some tlc before selling. As I was going through one of the handbags, I felt an object in a pocket and pulled out a leather business card holder. I opened it and pulled out the card contents that revealed her calling cards🥺🫶.

I thought to myself..how adorable to have calling cards when you meet new people. It was both nostalgic and sweet. I had to share my rare find, I just had too.

BAM was a huge success! It wasnt just about seeing your tent full of people, it was truly connecting with lovers of vintage! I always love having thoughtful conversations and hearing customers comment on how beautiful my curated items are! This time, I had quite a few guys as shoppers!
