The products that have changed my skin the most are not part of a complicated 12-step routine.

I consistently focus on four things:

• Hydration
• Eye-area care
• Daily sun protection
• A smoother canvas

Healthy-looking, well-prepped skin helps makeup apply beautifully—but choosing the right makeup colors matters too.

When your foundation, blush, lipstick + eye colors harmonize with your natural coloring, your entire face looks brighter and more balanced.

Good skincare helps your best makeup colors look even better!

Have you ever put on an outfit that fits—but still feels a little “off”? The answer may be in the silhouette, proportions or vertical lines.

Silhouette is the overall shape or outline your clothing creates—straight, fitted, relaxed, structured or flowing.

Proportion styling looks at how the lengths and volume of each piece work together and with your natural proportions.

Vertical lines are the paths and visual breaks your eyes follow from head to toe. Waistbands, hemlines, layers, color changes + shoes can lengthen that line or break it into sections.

When these elements work together, an outfit feels more balanced, intentional + like you.

This is not about hiding your body or following rigid rules. It is about understanding what works—and why—so getting dressed becomes easier.

That is what it means to Wear You Well.

You deserve to know what fits your body.

What does color theory have to do with getting dressed? More than you might think. 🎨

Color theory is simply the study of how colors work together. During a personal color analysis, we look at whether your natural coloring is warmer or cooler, lighter or deeper, softer or brighter—then find colors that work in harmony with you.

In the right colors, your skin can appear more even, your eyes more noticeable + you see yourself before you see the clothing.

Color analysis can also make your closet easier to use. Because the colors in your personal palette share similar qualities, they naturally work well together. As you build your wardrobe around them, more of your tops, bottoms, layers + accessories coordinate—giving you more outfit combinations with fewer decisions.

It is not about changing you or giving you a list of rules. It is about removing the guesswork + helping you feel more confident in yourself and your closet.

That is what it means to Wear You Well. 🤍Beth

Would getting dressed feel easier if more of your closet worked together?

TRUTH: I became an image consultant because I stopped recognizing the woman in the mirror.

Hi, I’m Beth Dawson—a Certified Personal Color Analyst + Image Consultant.

For more than 10 years, I worked in the fashion and beauty industry, curating and selling secondhand outfits online and in person. I have always loved helping women get dressed—but five years ago, perimenopause took me on a wild ride.

My body changed. My clothes didn’t fit the way they used to. And even though I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what was different, I no longer felt like myself.

Black leggings and a white baseball hat became my everyday “mom uniform.”

Then one day, my daughter asked:

“Can you not wear a baseball hat to lunch duty today?”

Ouch. 😂

But honestly? It was the wake-up call I needed.

I started searching Pinterest for “ways to feel better about myself in midlife,” and a post about image consulting appeared.

I don’t believe that was an accident.

It helped me realize that everything I had done over the previous 10 years—and everything I was going through personally—was leading me here.

Now, I help women understand the colors, silhouettes and style choices that make them feel comfortable, confident and fully themselves again.

Because style isn’t about chasing trends, hiding your body or trying to look younger.

It’s about learning what works for you—and understanding why.

If getting dressed has become frustrating, overwhelming or simply doesn’t feel like you anymore, you’re in the right place.

I’m so glad you’re here. Follow along, and I’ll help you find your best colors, understand your proportions and define a personal style that feels like you.

Let’s help you Wear You Well. 🤍
