We were able to drop off several blankets yesterday to the picu at Sutter Sacramento Hospital along with over 55 new childrens books my daughter jamie collected from her kindergarten class she TAs for. Just in time for Easter! If you have any homemade blankets we are always accepting donations! We are also looking to get the velvet coloring posters, pillowpets and leap frogs donated over the next few months. Please let me know if any of you would like to donate any of those.

If anyone has any more blankets to drop off it is getting close to Christmas and I need about 20 more blankets to drop off to the kids in ICU this Christmas. Please help if you are able to!

Thank you so much to everyone who responded. I am feeling confident that we will be able to once again do a Christmas drive and warm the hearts of some fighting little souls! I was sooo bummed over the summer when I did not have enough blankets to do the 4th of July drive...the normally love getting the blankets so that some of them can sit out on the deck to watch the fireworks and my heart broke that I could not do this. However I am renewed with hope that this Christmas will be a generous one for the children!!!!

If anyone is interested in helping with the Christmas blanket drive please let me know I will need 30-40 more blankets to do a Christmas drive by the week before Christmas. If I could get just half of you to make a blanket before than I will be able to do the drive if not we will have to cancle : ( which will break my heart thinking of those little ones in PICU and in general Peds.

Our 3rd Annual 4th of July Blanket Delivery to Sutter Sac childrens ICU & Ped floor is around the corner and I am in desperate need of blankets! Please if you can make even just one it would make a huge difference!! Let me know if you can help. If you are not able to make one you can always donate fleece 1 1/2 yards to 2 yards per blanket. Or baby blankets are 2 separate 1 yard of flannel. Contact me if you have any questions : )

We will be doing the 2nd annual blanket drive on July 4th start making your blankets now : ) Last year the children in ICU used them to wrap around them while some of them got to go on the deck & watch the fireworks! Lets do it again this year!!! The tie blankets are 1 1/2 yard single layer of fleece...the baby blankets are 1 yard of flannel with the silky binding sewn around edge.

Easter is in a little more than a week and I have only a half dozen blankets. I need more soon in order to do the Easter delivery please help if you can!

I am in great need of blankets if anyone can make a few before Easter please let me know. We are also collecting small new Easter toys and baskets for the delivery. Below are the directions on how to make them. Thank you so much for your help!

Easter is right around the corner and I need 50 plus blankets!!! Please help! The tie ones are so easy to do and you can do them while you watch tv so make a few and drop them by : )
