Two more of my favorite albums. My mom gave me the "Chicago Live at Carnegie Hall" (yes it is the original from 1971) and I picked up the Hits album at an antique store a few years back.

Some of my favorite Punk/Rockabilly vinyls. My wife bought the Green Day Dookie album for Christmas back when we first got married and she also bought both Social Distortion albums for Christmas a few years back. The Stray Cats was found at a yard sale quite a while back.

I was going thru some of my personal collection the other night, reminiscing on how I found this album or who gave me that album, etc. I came across a couple that are very dear to me. I never play them and they are scratched and worn, but they are priceless to me. One is even missing the sleeve. They are the ones my parents gave to me out of their old collections when I was younger.

Mom gave me her Beatles "Red Album" (yes, she was a flower child. And btw, she also got me listening to Chicago) and Pops gave me his Credence Clearwater Revival Chronicle album. It is probably one of my all time favorite albums.

Thanks to everyone for the new likes and follows!

I have always enjoyed the pure sound of vinyl records more than any other audio format.

I started collecting record albums when I was around 12-13 when my PawPaw let me have his old Realistic stack system from radio shack (you know, the silver unit with the turntable, cassette deck, receiver and equalizer) when he upgraded to his Technics system. He even honored me with 3 of his favorite records (I inherited them when he passed, and still most of them today).

It was all downhill from there. I was hooked.

I still have those records...
