Our Mission is to increase appreciation of the work of Egyptian artisans by providing a collection of personally curated unique Egyptian handcrafts for purchase to like minded individuals; to forge mutually beneficial international working relationships between individuals and make your day a little bit happier. Company Overview: Founded, owned, and operated since 1985 by Lucy Smith. All of our i

mported merchandise is produced by hand, in cottage industry: usually in the home or small workshops in Egypt. All of the workers and craftsmen and crafts women are paid fair, above the local average wage for their work. Our business literally supports entire families while also allowing individuals to practice a skilled craft, earn money, and become financially self sufficient. We believe in establishing and maintaining personal ongoing relationships with both our producers and consumers that are mutually beneficial to all involved. We carefully inspect and buy only merchandise that has been personally curated for quality. Our focus is to provide items you will be proud to own that will provide many many hours of enjoyment. Our items are available at selected festivals and events throughout the US. As a direct importer we also provide limited wholesale opportunities.
