Fall garage cleanout: 5 DIY tips for a garage you can actually park in.

1. Sort first, shop later. Pull everything out and make three piles (keep, donate, trash) before you buy a single bin.

2. Go vertical. Shelves and wall hooks get stuff off the floor. Floor space is the goal.

3. Clear bins plus labels. If you can't see what's inside, you'll never find it again.

4. Give everything a zone. Tools, sports gear, seasonal decor, car stuff. Each gets its own home.

5. Keep a donation box in the garage. When it's full, it leaves. No maybe pile.

This is pretty cool and honestly kind of blows my mind

When I got our new Clutterbusters database, we transferred EVERYTHING from the old system into it

And look what it brought over

4,858 CLIENTS
18,503 JOB BOOKINGS

And that doesn’t even represent every year we’ve been in business, because there were years when I didn’t even have a database

So this is literally a snapshot of just the years and information we actually had stored

Since 2002, Clutterbusters has helped thousands of people get organized, declutter their homes, and make their lives a little easier

Seeing these numbers all in one place makes me realize just how much we’ve done over the years

4,858 clients is a LOT of people who trusted us with their homes and their stuff

Pretty darn cool to see it all captured in numbers after all these years!!
