During the ice storm that recently shut down our little corner of the world, a winter tablescape felt appropriate. I love mixed stacks….candlelight on sparkles….texture and mood.

My friend Laura asked me long ago for pictures of the glassware in my windows. Here it is (finally!) it’s not the sunniest time of day and the windows aren’t the cleanest but…oh well! It’s a hodgepodge of colors and styles, which I like. I do plan on switching out the wood shelves for glass this year. I love hunting thrift stores for colored glass.

I have eight 10 3/4 inch dinner plates in Wedgwood’s discontinued Runnymede pattern. I’m showing it on a dusty pink background—beautiful!—but the colors in the florals allow for several options. These have an embossed, dark blue band and are in excellent vintage condition. There is some interesting history associated with the pattern name. Runnymede is where the Magna Cart was signed. This is a classic pattern that lends elegance to any setting. $160, plus shipping to the continental US. We accept PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo. DM to claim.
