We felt it was a little too late to change our country of choice from India to the Dutch Caribbean, but we wanted to share the last of our cherished memory of the island with you anyways.

When Sara and I went in to this shop we both thought, “we have to find a way to get this level of artisan craftsmanship into our shop in the future.”

Learning of the passing of one of the world’s favorite human beings of all time (and ours), it was hard to finish out our vacation with a sense of peace.

The world lost a humanitarian of epic proportions that we will likely never see again. There’s something that even time cannot replace, and Mrs Dolly Parton, you are never going to be replaceable.

That’s why we’re asking ourselves, What Would Dolly Do?

She’d be kind, and giving. She’d make a witty joke and laugh that contagious laugh. She’d find a way to make anyone feel like a million bucks. She’d be the most generous person in any room. And she would be so undeniably authentic that no one could ever suspect she didn’t mean every bit of it. Not even a little.
