Excellence isnā€™t about perfection, performance, or being impressive. Itā€™s about heart posture.

When our hearts are set on becoming more like Christ, it should change the way we show upā€”including how we serve, how we prepare, and how we steward the work Heā€™s placed in front of us.

We donā€™t give our best because we need recognition. We give our best because we know Who weā€™re ultimately doing it for.

There is worship in showing up prepared.
There is love in doing something with care.
There is faithfulness in taking even the small assignments seriously.

Jesus modeled a life of humble, intentional serviceā€”and becoming more like Him means learning to serve with that same posture: not for applause, but out of love for God and love for people.

Excellence isnā€™t the goal. Christlikeness is. And excellence can be one of the ways that Christlikeness shows up in our lives.
