A sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart to my sweet niece, April Reding, for bringing supper to my house tonight. Cooking and a broke arm don’t mix well and my hubby is no chef!! April brought us each one of Mufasa's Den huge hamburger steaks with peppers, onions and cheese. Fries and a roll on the side. It was absolutely delicious and so much appreciated. Thank you, also, to Chasity Ingram and Quinton Ingram owners of Mufasa’s Den for the awesome cupcakes for desert.

You never realize how special friends/family are until you find yourself in need and they are there to help in any way possible. I also want to thank you all for the messages, calls and posts asking about me and offering support. You’re all so special to me!! I love y’all!’

Thank you to everyone who has asked about me. Getting old stinks and this is the worst part.

I was going off my porch on Thursday night and somehow managed to fall out the steps. I just remember falling and landing. Everything else is a blur.

I knew I was hurt immediately because I could not move my arm or stand up on my foot. So I sat on the concrete for quite a while trying to locate my phone that was in my hand. I finally found it and managed to pull myself up.

I thought it was just a bad spring until a couple hours later when I was unable to move it at all and the pain went from bad to unbearable. It takes a lot for me to go to the ER, but by this time I was ready to go.

So fast forward to now and I am home with a broken arm and a severely twisted ankle close to but not broken. I have an appointment with TOC on Tuesday morning and possibly facing surgery on my arm.

I apologize to all my customers who was supposed to pick up items this week. I wish this hadn’t happened, but it has and I’m making the best of it.

Thanks to everyone who have asked about me and offered help. It is greatly appreciated. Please keep me in your prayers for a quick recovery and a decent report on Tuesday. I love you all very much!

I live behind Foodland in Elgin Forest. Your items are bagged and in a blue tub that I put out each morning (around 10 am) and take in each evening (around 5 pm). Each bag has a tag tied to the handle of the bag with your name and how much you owe written on it. If you have paid via venmo, please disregard the amount due. If you are paying via cash or check, please put money in an envelope or a ziploc bag with your name written on the outside of it. This is more important if you pay with cash so I can identify who has paid and mark your name off the list. Put your marked envelope or bag into the lock box attached to the porch rail just above the pick up tub. If you have multiple bags it will be marked on your tag. It will say 1 of 2 or 2 of 2. This will let you know that you have another bag to find before you leave.
