I kept forgetting to post this. But I made another tote bag :) 3 more to go! But I've been told the recipient of this bag might have more customers for me 🤣🤣 I think the liner fabric was such a beautiful addition to the bag! I even made a proper pocket this time 🤣

For my unicorn obsessed niece (she literally won't wear anything unless it has unicorns on it 💀) and my dinosaur-loving nephew ❤️

I love being able to create things catered to my niblings interests 🥹❤️ they might not come out perfect but aunt Julie will always try to make them happy 🥰 I cant wait to give these to them!

I finally finished this present for my friend (it is a very late birthday present 😅😅). She doesn't have Facebook so she won't see this 🤣 Tell me that burgundy color isn't gorgeous?! I love how it turned out 🥹

Another tote bag down, 4 more to go 💀🤣 and I learned how to make book sleeves 😍 (featuring one of my pretty books 🤣). Love them!! I cant wait to make the rest of the bags ❤️

I made another one 🤣 I was testing out a new batting (don't like it for quilted tote bags, but it will be good for other projects in the future!)I even tried a pocket for the first time and I learned quite a bit doing this one.
1. Do NOT wing pockets as a newbie 🤣 mine came out frayed and ended up pinching a bit because I left raw edges out lol
2. Don't use pencil to mark your quilt lines on light colored fabric because it doesnt come out and smudges in the wash lol
3. Use light colored fabric for the backing of light colored fabric because you can see through it 💀
4. The fusing batting was too thin for the bag but I did like how great it stuck together when you fused it together.

Overall, I'm getting better with every bag 🥰 I love this fabric so much and a friend told me it gave Bridgerton vibes and I LOVE that 🤣 I love me some Bridgerton 🫣

Finally!! After over 6 months of trying, the name is finally changed 🥰 We are officially Twisted Threads! Hopefully, now, people can find this page when I post on Tik Tok (I need to make a new Instagram). My TikTok is currently @ lostgirl616 but now that this page is finally changed, I'll start working on changing the name over there as well ❤️ love you guys and thank you for the support 🥰

I taught myself a new crochet technique called Mosaic Crochet :) it was a bit difficult at first because I had to read the pattern backwards but it was pretty fun! I used a color changing yarn to make it do the gradient ☺️

Memento Mori means "remember you must die" in Latin. It's basically to remind us of our mortality and to remind us to live a meaningful life. Though its an ancient saying, many religions have adapted it into their faith, especially Christianity/Catholicism. I am not a religious person but after struggling with depression for many years, I like this phrase to remind myself to keep living a meaningful life when I didnt want to for a little while ❤️ especially now that I'm glad I continued on ☺️

I had to wait until after her party to post these but these are gifts I made for my sister-in-law! I followed PassioKnit Kelsie's pattern for the crocheted top. Its a cute little spiderweb peek-a-boo :) This was my second tote bag and think I did very well compared to my first! She loves Harry Potter so as soon as I saw the Maurader's Map fabric at Michael's, I knew I had to make her one 😍 and shout-out to my husband for doing a great job at picking out a matching fabric for the bottom 🥰

I made another tote bag :) this was a commission for a customer after they saw my first tote bag and saw the mushroom pattern 🥰 I think I'm getting pretty good at sewing tote bags 😂

We are supposed to get snow today so maybe I'll spend our snow day trying to learn new sewing patterns ❤️

AHHHHHH LOOK WHAT I MADE 😍 My biggest sewing project so far! I am so incredibly proud of this one 🥹❤️ it is very far from perfect but it is so cute 😭 I really need to work on my top stitching and working with batting but for a first attempt, it came out wonderful 🥰 i will definitely be making more of these in the future!

When your niece asks you to make her a poncho "like mommy's" and make her new doll a matching one, you do whatever she asks of you 😂
(I don't have a child sized mannequin and I don't put children in my posts so just deal with my adult mannequin 😂) She picked out pretty colors but I never thought I'd be crocheting doll clothes 🤣 I'm just glad she likes my crochet 🥹❤️

(I also dont like dolls. So I cant wait to get this thing out of my house 💀🤣)

Now that everyone has opened their gifts, here's everything I made for Christmas presents this year ❤️

I'm so happy with how all of these came out and I'm very proud I got them all done in a month haha
