Stitched2Last I make a line of Quilts, Pillow Shams, Oven Mitts, Fishing Rod Socks, and Baby Sets that are completely washable. Meant to use and abuse for a lifetime.

I use 100% cotton quilt or pillow panels and design original reversible quilts using a coordinated fabric on the back. I line them with 2 layers of Warm & Natural needled cotton and topstitch quilt them with a contrasting zig zag stitch. Most are one of a kind and I continually evolve and change making them prettier and better. I love to design potholders, baby bibs, fishing pole socks, picnic bas

kets and anything anyone wants. Each item is stitched 2 last and will be enjoyed for many years to come. I create every item by myself and each item is made with lots of love....

I’m enjoying doing curtains but I have 2 orders of lined curtains. One I can cut off hem but these only need to come up 4” so I have to carefully take hem out. Luckily it’s 3 1/2” hem with 1/2” fold over so I have a cutting line without marking.

When my back is bad it likes sewing so I’m in full swing. Replaced TV and set up my sewing shop the way I like it. My TV in my master bedroom where I do most of my sewing died so I moved to shop. I really enjoy it the best in nice weather. Have comfortable seats at each station making it easier to ice the back..

I cut and shrunk 9 yards of Insul Brite for potholders. More marks on my design boards for 3 yards showing they shrunk over 2“ each piece. One is all set to cut with potholders 2 each. Some are new designs. 78 total without any waste not even an inch! Dangerous for me to start folding my fabrics. Bird oven Mitts cut and ready.

Got my daughter to pull out my bins of theme fabrics so I could get back to my closet project. I could go with it but I’m a**l. Bottom shelve is too high and wasted bracket on top. Also barely cleared rod which I just realized I don’t need. My friend suggested removing closet doors and now I’m liking that idea. I will be quilting soon!
