I have a booth within Suzanna's Antiques in Rolesville, NC and Finders and Seekers Emporium in Pittsboro,NC. I work with upcycled clothing, breathing new life into hand curated second hand pieces using Japanese Shibori dyeing techniques. If you are not familiar with Shibori, it is an ancient form of "tie dye", achieved through folding the textiles around various objects, and binding to create a "r
esist"(areas kept from exposure to dye or bleach). Some of the pieces are worked in reverse (taking pigment out), some have pigments added. I sell these pieces at Art Markets and Shows, as well as online. I also have a curated collection of second hand and vintage clothing and accessory pieces that I make available at some of my markets, mostly boho, vintage inspired and musician friendly looks.
