I realized something on my most recent trip…

For YEARS, whenever I thought about traveling, I automatically reached for my leggings, sweatpants, or an oversized sweatshirt.

Because let’s be real… when you’re sitting on a plane, riding in a rental car, walking through airports, and spending hours away from home, COMFORT is everything!

But here’s what I’ve learned…

You shouldn’t have to choose between being comfortable and looking cute!

On this last trip, I packed a few pieces from Local Charm, and I loved that I could sit comfortably on the plane, hop into the rental car, and meet up with people at the hotel without feeling like I needed to change my entire outfit.

I felt relaxed, comfortable, and STILL looked put together!

And that’s actually one of my biggest priorities when choosing clothes for the boutique.

I want women to find pieces that feel just as good as they look.

Because whether you’re heading to a bridal shower, a birthday party, a girls’ night out, a business trip, or simply running errands…

I was talking to a woman recently who shared something with me that I have a feeling SO many of you can relate to!

She was getting ready to leave for a business trip and needed a few cute outfits to take with her.

She told me she had walked through department store after department store, and everything she picked up was either cropped, super short, skin-tight, or just NOT something she felt comfortable wearing.

She laughed and said, “I’m a mama of FOUR getting ready to turn 50! I can’t be wearing half this stuff!”

But here’s what really stuck with me…

She wasn’t saying she didn’t want to look cute anymore.

Quite the opposite!

She STILL wanted to look trendy. She STILL wanted to feel beautiful. And she DEFINITELY wanted to feel comfortable in what she was wearing.

She just wanted clothes that made her feel like HERSELF…. Classy

And she told me that when she walked into Local Charm, that was one of the first things she noticed.

Clothes that were cute and current without sacrificing comfort.

And THAT is such a big part of the heart behind this little boutique.

I was talking to a woman recently who had me laughing because I knew EXACTLY what she meant!

She’s a mama of FOUR, in her late 40’s, and she was telling me how frustrating shopping has become.
