ROLLA COMMUNITY ACTION ALERT
Tomorrow night a decision could be made that impacts local businesses, veterans, patients and working families across Rolla.
The Rolla City Council is considering an ordinance that would BAN THCa h**p and other h**p derived cannabinoids by grouping them together with 7OH. These are completely different substances and should not be treated the same. A ban is not regulation. A ban eliminates access, jobs and local revenue.
We need people in seats.
If the chamber is empty, this ordinance could pass without opposition.
MEETING DETAILSMonday March 26:30 PMCity Hall Council Chambers901 N Elm StreetRolla MO
We are asking supporters, business owners, veterans, patients and community members to attend and speak if you feel comfortable. Even simply showing up matters. Your presence shows the council this issue affects real people.
Why this mattersMany residents rely on h**p products for sleep, PTSD, anxiety, chronic pain and depression. Others use them as alternatives to alcohol or opioids. A ban removes options and harms small local businesses while doing nothing to create safe standards.
Our positionThe MoH**p Trade Association supports reasonable regulation, labeling standards and consumer safety. We do NOT oppose regulating substances like 7OH. But banning h**p derived cannabinoids by lumping them together is scientifically inaccurate and harmful policy.
What you can doShow upSign in to speakShare your storyStand with local businesses
Even if you do not speak, your presence helps protect this industry and the people who depend on it.
Please share this and bring a friend. Community voices matter.
