🦋 A Little Something for Dolly 🦋
We were heartbroken to hear the news of Dolly Parton’s passing. She was so much more than a talented singer and songwriter. She was an exceptional woman, an incredible role model, and someone who spent her life using her success to make the world a little brighter, especially for children.
We knew immediately that we wanted to do something to honor Dolly in a way that we felt she would be proud of.
So, this Friday & Saturday, August 28th & 29th, every purchase made in-store or online will receive a FREE butterfly clip (while supplies last). 🦋
The butterfly feels especially fitting because it was so meaningful to Dolly. She loved butterflies from the time she was a little girl, often telling stories about wandering into the woods chasing them. They became her personal symbol and found their way into her music, her style, and even Dollywood. 🦋
But we also wanted to honor something even bigger: Dolly’s love for children, books, and the power of imagination.
Dolly believed that every child should have access to books and the chance to dream, imagine, and become whatever they wanted to be. Her legacy has put hundreds of millions of books into the hands of children around the world.
In Dolly’s honor, we will also be donating a percentage of all sales this Friday & Saturday to Cal’s Library, a local literacy program.
A butterfly to remember Dolly.
A book to carry on her legacy.
And a little giving to help children dream a little bigger.
As Dolly once said: “If I’m remembered 100 years from now, I hope it will be not for looks but for books.”
