The leather shop has moved from time to time only to gain more space and provide more services. We first started out at Gibraltar Trade Center on the weekends and quickly grew. A customer recently brought us a hand-carved hood strap from a 1929 Mercedes-Benz and asked us to recreate it. Using one of our heavy-duty gun belts, we were able to replicate the original piece.

Also, here’s a heads-up on a couple of upcoming rides:

🏍️ This Saturday, May 30th, MotorCity Harley-Davidson is hosting its annual Breast Cancer Ride.

🏍️ Next Sunday, June 7th, is one of our favorites, Ride for a Reason. This ride helps raise money for the Penrickton Center for Blind Children, and several of us from AM Leather will be there.

Reminder that the Stop the Silence ride is tomorrow! It starts at Motown Harley-Davidson (KSU at 11am) and is ending at your favorite local Leather store!

We will also have a new food truck to try out too, Cliff’s Food Truck. He is a local guy who many of you have probably seen at one of our local party stores!

Good morning and happy Saturday! 
Our embroidery department has brought out some new AM Leather hats and brought back a couple of our old school logos. We also just restocked on our rings and jewelry.

Also, a reminder of the Shop Local event happening today around Huron Township. Stop by and make a $15 purchase to be entered into a gift card drawing for some of the cool shops around town.

Grizzly Peak Customs is also doing their Anniversary party today so while you’re out and about, stop by and check out their awesome shop and enjoy the party.

Good morning! We’ve got a couple more birthdays to celebrate today at A.M. Leather! 🎉

Happy Birthday to Conner and Eric!

Conner has been with us since 2017 when we moved into our new building and is one of our embroidery specialists. Many of you probably recognize him from placing patch orders with us.

Eric is one of our close friends and the coolest mailman on this side of the Mississippi. He stops in every morning for coffee and conversation, and we always appreciate seeing him.

Thank you both for everything you do for us, and we hope you have an awesome birthday!

As for this weekend:

Saturday, May 16th, Hot Rods Motorcycle Awareness & Su***de Prevention Foundation is hosting their Blessing of the Bikes.

Also on Saturday, Huron Township is hosting a shop local event to support small businesses in the area. For every $15 spent in-store, you’ll receive an entry ticket for prize giveaways. Last year’s turnout was great, and several of our customers ended up winning prizes!
