The leather shop has moved from time to time only to gain more space and provide more services. We first started out at Gibraltar Trade Center on the weekends and quickly grew. Here’s a heads up of a couple things going on this weekend!

Saturday, August 29th Trenton American Legion is doing their annual Hawgs and Dawgs cookout.

Also Saturday, Punishers LEMC is supporting Children with Hair Loss at the Hair Mechanix is Southgate

And Monday, August 31st, Dearborn Heights Moose Lodge is drawing the lucky winner for this nice bike! Reach out to any of the members if you would like to purchase a ticket.

Who remembers the motorcycle lifts we used to sell and raffle off?!

These things are an awesome piece of equipment to have around the shop or garage. We actually have two of them here at the store, and we use them for a lot more than just motorcycles!

We’ve had quite a few people reach out recently asking if we still sell them. While we don’t normally keep them in stock anymore, we can still get them!

Does anybody recognize this helmet and vest? Harper Woods PD reached out to us because it is one of our vests and all the patches were sewn on by us. It was found somewhere off of 8 mile. Looks like the person was an Air Force veteran so we are just trying to get it back to its rightful owner. If anybody has information, feel free to call us at our store.

It hasn’t been quite the sunny Saturday we were hoping for, but it’s still been a great week! We knocked out a couple of fun custom projects that we wanted to share.

Darrel needed some fresh white fringe for his floorboards and saddlebag rails. We normally carry premade fringe, but only in black leather. So he brought the bike up, we traced out his custom floorboards, and made everything from scratch to help take his show bike to the next level!

Josh originally came in looking for crash bar bags, but at the time we only had the left-side water bottle holder in stock. Even after we got the other side back in, he decided to go the custom route instead. We made him a set of heavy-duty leather bags and added some red trim to tie them in with his bike.

Thank you both for trusting us with these cool projects!

Here is a heads up on a few things coming up!

This Saturday, August 15th, Road Angels MC is having another steak fry!

Next Saturday, August 22nd, H5 BBQ is in the house!! They will be set up here at the leather shop and will start serving food at noon. These guys truly have the best BBQ in town so don’t miss it!

Also next Saturday, Dearborn Heights Moose Riders is having a picnic!

Good morning and happy hump day! ☀️ The clouds have finally parted after a few gloomy days. We still got plenty of summer left for some good riding. Try to get out there and make the most of it!

We also received another plaque in the mail today, thanks to our awesome sewing department! 🏆 This time, AM Leather was voted Best Tailor & Alterations in the State!

A huge thank you to whoever nominated us and everyone who voted! We truly appreciate the support and are proud of our hardworking sewing crew!
