The leather shop has moved from time to time only to gain more space and provide more services. We first started out at Gibraltar Trade Center on the weekends and quickly grew. Despite a few scattered showers, yesterday was a great day for riding! We definitely have been blessed with great weather lately.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and kept us busy—we were putting patches on almost nonstop for a few hours! A special thank you to Dead Orthodox RC for bringing everyone out, and to Jon and Katy from the Widows Sons for stopping in. It was great seeing Jon wearing the custom vest we made for him.

Good morning and happy Friday! Summer has been moving fast this year and September is right around the corner!

We are doing our annual Customer Appreciation Party on Saturday, September 26th from 12pm-4pm. Any of you have came in the years past know it’s a great time! Free food, tons of raffles and this year we are even going to have a few bike games!

For our big raffle, we are giving away another full set of US made leathers! You get a vest, coat, chaps of any style and also a pair of boots and glove to go with it! Tickets are $20 and are available up until the day of the party. You don’t have to be present at the party to win and all proceeds go to Penrickton Center for Blind Children.

Our new parking lot is officially finished, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out—it looks like a million bucks!

To give the new asphalt time to fully cure, our designated motorcycle parking area will be closed off this weekend. The rest of the parking lot is open and ready for everyone.

If you’re riding in, we kindly ask that you park on one of the plywood squares we’ve placed around the lot. They help keep kickstands from sinking into or marking the fresh asphalt.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we finish things up!

📍 We’ll be open tomorrow (Friday) from 10 AM–6 PM as usual, and we’ll be closed Saturday in observance of the holiday. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!

What an awesome Saturday! We couldn’t have asked for better riding weather. The bikes were rolling in and out of the parking lot all day, making for another great day at AM Leather.

We also had a surprise visit from The Biker Guru while they were in town! It was great seeing you guys, and we appreciate you stopping by to check us out.

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to whoever nominated us for the Best of Hour Detroit 2026 awards! We had no idea the contest was even happening, so it was a complete surprise when this plaque showed up.

We’re incredibly grateful to have such amazing customers and supporters. Your loyalty and encouragement are the reason we’ve been here since 1992, and we truly appreciate every one of you.

Good morning and happy Friday! There’s a lot going on this weekend. So here’s a quick heads up.

Tonight Rare Angelz are hosting a bike night downtown!
Tomorrow, June 27th, Shielded Soul Le/Mc is having a kickoff to Independence Party from 5-11pm right down the street from us!
Also tomorrow, there is a custom/car/bike show at Grosse Ile Historic Naval Air Station.

We know it’s a little late, but we had a blast last Saturday at Flat Rock Speedway for the School Bus Races! 🏁🚌 What a great company outing and a fun night with plenty of laughs. Who else was there?

Also, a quick heads-up: we will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. 🇺🇸

We will be open normal business hours on Friday, July 3rd, from 10 AM – 6 PM, so be sure to stop in before the holiday weekend!
