If you’re of a certain age, or just extremely cool (? 😂) you might well know the words to the accompanying song 😎 We’re in the middle of a heatwave here so festive fabrics seem a distant desire … however the coo’s have landed and this beauty of a border print will no doubt disappear like a snowman in the sun so .. maybe gently stroll to buy it and then waft yourself with it, fan like. We indeed are very very warm, and a little overwhelmed right now at HQ.

Heat-induced delirium may already have set in, and it’s only Day 1 of the “hot, hot, hot” weather (again!!) 🥵🔥

In what is already one of Lewis & Irene’s busiest (and most stressful!) weeks of the year, of course a heatwave has decided to arrive at UK HQ.

For those of you outside the UK: we’re British. We don’t really do air conditioning, and our buildings are specifically designed to keep heat IN. Excellent in winter. Less excellent right now.

We consider discussing the weather a national pastime and are incapable of coping with any extreme, so naturally we’ve dedicated an entire post to it. 😎

Please bear with us this week while we do our best to keep our cool, get work done, answer emails, and avoid melting into a floral-shaped puddle.

Ice cream, frozen margaritas, and buckets of ice are gratefully accepted. 🍦🍹🧊

We are currently delivering (or will be very soon) our Christmas and Winter collections which happen to be part of our Spring/Summer fabric collections! Yep .. doesn’t make sense, we know 😜 But that means from July onwards we’ll start delivering our Autumn (or ‘fall’ depending on where you are in the world)/Winter lines! We’re a bit quiet on socials at the moment as we are C R A Z Y BUSY finishing things for 2027 and being a tiny team with an humongous (love that word) work load it’s all a bit bonkers right now! 😵‍💫 So put your feet up, pour a cup of tea and peruse what we’ve got to come for the second part of the year.
