💜 Lola Callaway Langel
Born September 7, 2025 • 8:09 AM
6 lbs 4 oz • 19 inches long
When we told John Scott he was getting a baby sister, we asked what her name should be. Without missing a beat, he said “Lola.” And he never changed his mind.
The first time he said “Lola Langel,” her daddy teared up, and I smiled — because it just felt right. We looked at other names, but nothing stuck like that one.
And as I looked closer, I realized it wasn’t just sweet — it was meaningful.
✨ L is for Love, from 1 Corinthians 13:13 — a reminder of what we want to center in our family.
✨ O honors “Joe,” my grandfather — steady, faithful, and the kindest man.
✨ L also pulls from my grandmother Velma — joyful, stylish, and the heart of so many memories.
✨ A is for Debra, my mom — strong, nurturing, and one of my very best friends.
Her middle name, Callaway, is my maiden name. It ties her to my dad, my siblings, and the Fuller Callaway side — including my grandmother Wanda, and my grandfather Fuller Jr., who I never met but always felt connected to through my dad.
Her last name, Langel, ties her to her dad and brother — and soon me, once I finally change mine 🫣 — a name rooted in love, loyalty, and legacy.
She arrived three weeks early, under the Harvest Moon — a symbol of clarity and new beginnings — with a head full of dark hair and a single streak of blonde… like a little wink from God ✨
Her name is stitched with meaning, memory, and a little magic.
Chosen by her brother. Carried forward with love. 🕊
