forget red or black... i’m putting it all on pink this fall 🤪🦋💗

i’ve honestly always been a little unsure of myself when it comes to buying, especially for a show. it always feels like a gamble, usually not in a fun way. and then when dolly passed, and this quote of hers (from one of her iconic hannah montana cameos) kept coming back to me 🥹

so this time i heeded her advice and bet on myself. ended up with the biggest buy i’ve EVERRRR done for a show (by a LOT). can’t wait for you all to see it in less than a month !!! october 17-31 Blue Hills at Round Top barn e !!!

one of my fav dolly-isms 💗🦋

here’s to my hero, dolly, who did everything loud and made loud beautiful. there aren’t many people who change how you see yourself, she was one of mine.

i don’t think i ever built monarch without dolly in the back of my head somewhere. the sparkle, the fringe, the not taking yourself too seriously, the being fully, loudly, unapologetically yourself, that’s not just aesthetic to me, that’s how she taught me to move through the world. every loud print, every sequin, every “too much” piece I’ve ever picked for this brand has a little of her in it.

a percentage of sales from every hat will be going straight to the Imagination Library

these are available on the site now for preorder, shipping to you mid-september.
