Happy Monday, . Here’s a sneak peak at some that’s coming soon to the shop. So, be on the lookout for new designs, fresh looks, wall art, mugs, and yes - even a - because .

Once again, I appreciate the patience, my fellow misfits. The shop is a one-man band. It’s taking a bit more time to work out the new designs and reorganize the site to fit new content… and for a time, motivation was at a low as I had to face some tough struggles. But things are looking brighter and I’ll keep 🙏🏻

In early Alcoholics Anonymous, the harsh reality of alcoholism was difficult for many to accept. Only the most desperate cases could swallow the truth. But for those who did and embraced the principles of AA with all their might, they almost always found a path to recovery. 🙏

“I've been trying to fit in all my life, and even though I knew many people, I didn't feel accepted. You might even say I was a misfit. And then I found drugs and alcohol, and I thought this was how I was able 2 make a connection with others. I always knew that I was an alcoholic addict, but I never really cared at the time. It was fun, and I enjoyed myself. Only at the end did I realize it wasn't fun anymore. The last few years of my addiction were isolation, loneliness, and thoughts of su***de. Well - looks like Sober Misfits has hit a bit of a snag. I lost my job. To those of you that don’t know, this is a ‘one man band’. I design, mockup, and do all the back-end web stuff all on my own. It’s purely done out of love and respect for the sober community that has given so much to me.

Normally this sort of situation would cause me to go into a tailspin. I was just beginning to hit a stride with Sober Misfits. Nothing sets a panic in me like financial insecurity - the fear of the unknown. To be completely transparent, I’ve relapsed over a similar situation. But then I remembered something that my sober sages and the AA wizards always say - "This too shall pass”…
