A Little Progress Every Day…

Today was one of those days filled with ladders, hangers, displays, moving things twice because the first spot wasn’t quite right, and enough unpacking to make us question some life choices. Retail glamour at its finest.

We’re excited to finally start getting merchandise out on the floor at Lake Cumberland Collective. From swimwear and summer styles to graphic tees and accessories, it’s starting to feel like a real boutique instead of a room full of boxes and big ideas.

We still have a lot to do before opening day, but we’re making progress one display, one rack, and one late evening at a time. Building something from the ground up isn’t always pretty, but it sure is rewarding.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and cheered us on during this journey.

Today has been a little bit of everything. 💙

I’ve been running around getting my son ready for graduation while also trying to keep things moving behind the scenes here at Lake Cumberland Collective. Somewhere between errands, lists, and complete chaos… the first shipment of women’s swimwear for the 2026 season arrived. ☀️

And let me tell you… I’m excited.

The colors, the styles, the quality, the fit options… it’s all starting to come together exactly the way I hoped it would. We’ve started getting in bikinis, tankinis, and one pieces with a mix of fun prints, classic styles, and flattering fits. Most importantly, I really wanted pieces that felt trendy and fun without completely breaking the bank.

I still have a lot of work ahead before opening next month, but I seriously cannot wait to show you everything individually. If you’re excited to follow along, make sure to follow our page and share with your friends and family. It truly helps more than you know while we’re getting started. ✨
