I’ve experienced first hand of how the flying pig staff has carried me during my rock bottom that I never spoke about publicly. I went through a major depressive episode and they were there— no questions asked. A gentle hug, a warm cup of coffee, ordering merchandise and gift cards from me, and simply loving me for me— who I was, in that moment. That is pure love.

Rumors are spreading and end up hurting everyone involved. There was a rumor that was spread that a non-local coffee truck was hired and paid by the chamber to be parked on the square. In turn, it would hurt our local small businesses that put their heart and souls into giving to our community.

The Flying Pig Coffee Shop has always included everyone, even when they were advised not to. They’ve supported other coffee shops and cheered them on publicly and privately.

Let’s set it straight— love always prevails.

🎄We will be CLOSED Sunday, November 24th. Ellie and I are going to have a Daughter Momma Day going around and supporting all of our local businesses. It’s close to my heart to show her the importance of showing up for those who have worked endless hours for our community. Thank y’all for all the love and support.

I remember The Flying Pig Coffee Shoppe doing this the first year we moved here back in 2021 and that is the first reason (of many!) we fell in love for what they stand for. If you just need a quiet and calm place to feed your baby, no matter the method, go inside their coffee shoppe and have a calm environment. What a beautiful gesture to offer to others. Attention ALL nursing moms!!! Next Saturday, for the To***co and Heritage Festival, we will only be open at our walk-up window. If you are a nursing mom and would like to feed your littles in a private/comfy area, let us know and we will gladly unlock the door to let you in to feed or change your baby!
