The Lord celebrates us!
He likes us, a whole lot. Think of someone you love and you have recently lavished your love on them. Maybe you bought them presents or took them to lunch or threw a party for them. Can you see it? It’s a good time. You and your friend are happy and laughing and just enjoying life. Now put God in the picture. See Him there too. See Him as the one giving the biggest gifts, throwing an outlandish party, holding back no expense. See Him telling everyone how great you are and how you are His beloved child. See Him laughing and playing fun party games with everyone!
That is our God! He is the one who spared no cost to have us reconciled to Him. He is the one who sent His Son, His only Son to die for us so we can live. Really live! Not a “get through kind of life” but a life full of abundance and parties, a life of joy and peace, a life of prosperity and happiness, a really good life!

Be intentional
Are you kind to people? Look for people to show kindness. Go out of your way to open a door, speak a kind word, help where there is a need, encourage a friend with a text. Be intentional with your kindness today.

Do you love your spouse? Show them. Tell them. Be intentional with your love today.

Do you pray? Pray specifically for what you need. Make your request known to God. Yes, He already knows but He wants to hear you. His word says to ask and it will be given to you. Pray intentionally.

Prayer is really quite simple.
We often say, “I don’t know how to pray.” Do you know how to talk?
Then you know how to pray.
If you have been overthinking prayer, feeling you don’t know how or don’t know the right words, rest at ease, my friend and today talk to Jesus. He’s actually the easiest one to talk to. His love is unconditional. His advice always perfect. His plans for us so good we can’t even imagine.
Talk to Jesus today.
Give it a try.
