Our department is excited to announce that we’ve officially joined the Close The Door TN fire safety campaign—an initiative focused on one powerful message: Closed doors slow the spread of fire and smoke and can give you more time to escape.
🚒 Fire Safety Tips You Should Know:
✔️ Sleep with bedroom doors closed whenever possible
✔️ Close doors behind you as you exit during a fire
✔️ Keep fire doors closed in apartments, schools, and businesses
✔️ Make sure you have working smoke alarms on every level of your home
✔️ Practice and review your home escape plan with everyone in your household
🚨 Fires can spread fast—but closed doors can make a life-saving difference by limiting heat, smoke, and toxic gases.
