We’re ready here at The Market!!

The beer is being stocked. The games are being scheduled. The guitars are being tuned. And somewhere out there, someone is practicing their frying pan toss.

The 54th annual Can-Am Festival kicks off THIS FRIDAY — three full days of free events, live music, food, games, vendors, a parade, a Speedster Challenge, vintage baseball, fireworks over the harbor Saturday night, and ATLAS closing it all out Sunday afternoon on the Battlefield.

Three days. All free. All in one village on Lake Ontario.

🥂 A toast to what’s next 🥂

In early January, I posted about my chosen theme for the year. 2026 was the year I needed to ‘Be Ready’.

At the time, I wasn’t exactly sure what that would mean. I just knew I needed to Be Ready for whatever 2026 would bring.

Now I know why I needed to prepare. Why I needed to Be Ready.

Today, with a grateful heart (and a champagne toast!), I’m so excited to officially announce Molly and Paul Bruchez as the new owners of Market on Main!!!

My little Market has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and handing it over is bittersweet. But it’s also filled with hope, because I know it’s in the very best hands. Molly and Paul love this community as much as I do, and I can’t wait to watch them make Market on Main their own.

To everyone who has walked through the door, supported my small business, shared a kind word, or simply believed in my dream, I humbly thank you. You helped build something truly special.

Maybe ‘Be Ready’ wasn’t just about preparing for change. Maybe it was about being ready to trust that sometimes the next chapter can be just as beautiful as the one before.

Please join me in welcoming the Bruchez family to Market on Main. Over the next couple of months we will be OPEN as we work on turning this over, so stop in and say hi!! Truly, I couldn’t be happier for Molly and Paul, or more excited for what’s ahead. Market on Main will have the same heart, just new hands.
