Well, ladies, I have finally received the batting that I was waiting for unfortunately they sent me everything that I needed except for the batting size that I needed for the quilts that I have in queue and I wasn’t gonna take a loss on using bigger size batting and I wasn’t gonna charge you for a bigger size batting so anyways it is here and quilts are going on. Happy 4th of July have a safe and enjoyable weekend I myself am in my cool basement finally sewing on something of my own! I did not receive all my batting yes I should have opened the boxes before posting I got hand quilting and throw sizes. But it is due today so I will have quilts done. I’m still working on the bible quilt oh will the end ever arrive? It is off the floor (I float my quilts so they drape on the floor) that is my encouragement to keep going.

Between quilts and organizing my home I am repairing a vintage Dresden quilt it's in very good condition except for the 50 petals that need replacing there are 2 to each block that have deteriorated and the reason is simply the thread count was lower in this specific fabric. It is hand quilted so i have to be careful removing them or ill be fixing that which i do not want to do! So, I am starting to take the damaged ones off....... 1 down 49 to go!
