October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month 💛💙 — a time to celebrate the strength, joy, and love that individuals with Down syndrome bring into the world.

Meet Nathaniel, born August 1st at 37 weeks. At birth, his family learned of markers for Down syndrome, later confirmed as trisomy 21. His first 12 days were spent in the NICU gaining strength for feeding and weight gain. Nathaniel’s mom used Roos Wraps to help with tummy time and increase the mother-to-baby bond.

Now just over a month old, Nathaniel is thriving at home while being surrounded by love from his big brother and sister!

This month and every month, we honor incredible babies like Nathaniel and the families who walk this journey with courage and love. 💙💛

Meet Santino! Born at just 26 weeks, he’s been through more in his first months of life than most do in a lifetime. He battled prematurity, BPD, a tracheostomy, and countless hospital transfers. Through it all, his strength (and his parents’ love) shine.

When his mama shared that Santino had spent most of his life lying on his back and was struggling with core strength, we knew a Roos Wrap could help. Now, he’s learning to sit up straighter, building the muscles he needs for milestones ahead.

After 202 days in the NICU and PICU, Santino finally has a potential discharge date. This is just the beginning of his story and we’re honored to be a small part of it. 💛

Adopted by a loving mom who is legally blind and a dad who drives buses for medically challenged children, Abby has been surrounded by strength from the start. With the help of Roos Wraps, she’s building her muscles and making big strides every day. Recently, the Sweet Dreams Foundation gifted her a beautiful new room, and we can’t wait to watch her continue to thrive.
