1. Donate and Declutter. Before or after new toys make it into your house make a few piles and choose what to donate , throw away or keep.

2. Feed the birds. Our little feathery friends need some love in this cold season. Make/build a bird house and watch them come enjoy a snack.

3. Turn your playroom into a grocery store , toy store or coffee shop. We’ve been doing this with girls and they love it.

4. Craft it up! We love making/cutting out snow flakes from white tissue paper and putting them on the windows as window decor in kids rooms.

5. Make some ornaments with kids to hang on your Christmas tree.

6. Ice Skating. Many cities set up temporary outdoor ice skating rinks this time of the year. Grab your loved ones and enjoy some hot chocolate and fun with the whole family.

7. Pay it Forward. Go volunteer somewhere with kids. Show kindness to random strangers. Go to nursing home and bring them some cookies, sing songs and just visit with residents. ..
