Lexi Update!! Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers for Lexi as she went under for her double lung transplant on June 25th. Lexi is doing SO amazing. After a year in the hospital on life support Lexi defines grit and resilience 💪🏼 As nurses, we are just in awe of her strength. We were so happy to send Lexi custom embroidered Annie & Isabel hospital gowns just in time to mark this new chapter after transplant! We love you Lexi and mama 🐻 Sabrina Hodge Lester! Thank you Mono Mia for helping with the beautiful embroidery.

Simple Loaf of Bread.....a non profit organization started by Deborah Knoll who made it her mission to bring cheer to patients who were going through a tough time. She raised money through fundraisers and used the money to buy presents and gift cards to bring smiles to others. She started this organization after a dear friend of hers lost their battle with breast cancer and she wanted to honor her friend's life by helping others.

In 2014, Deborah reached out to us because she wanted to donate some of her gift cards to us so we could send them to our customers who were purchasing our hospital gowns for themselves or someone who was going through cancer, battling diseases, having surgeries or just going through tough times. We had never met Deborah prior to her reaching out to us and I remember when we first met her how blown away we were with her positivity and generous soul. Her bright light was contagious and we felt so lucky to be able to be a small part in sharing her goodness with some of our customers. Many of you may have received one of those cards. Deborah donated hundreds of them to us and we received so many notes of gratitude from our customers about how a simple gesture like these cards really made a difference for them.

This last year Deborah has been battling her own diagnoses of ALS and it is with great sadness that we found out she passed away yesterday.

Deborah was a shining light in this world and one of the most giving people we know. We became friends over the last 7 years and even outside of her charity she was always about doing random acts of kindness. Her family has asked to honor her by doing a random act of kindness and I think we can all get behind that.

Deborah - thank you for sharing your giving heart with us individually and with our company. May you rest in peace and know that you have touched so many lives with your love❤️

Happy Nurses Week!

It was called "The Year of the Nurse" and THAT is was! We want to wish a Happy Nurses Week to all of the AMAZING nurses who have continued to show up and care for their patients no matter what the circumstances. We have seen this pandemic front and center and it has weighed heavily on our shoulders and hearts.

For us personally, to have met thousands of nurses all over the country this past year with project Protect with Heart has been an true honor. You are our "why" and we thank you for everything. We are united in strength and LOVE...and protected in HeART.

Today, we were honored to join Dr. Rusty Osh*ta to help vaccinate over 100 members of our California State Legislature and staff at our beautiful State Capitol 🇺🇸

Our hearts are so full!! Our children’s grammar school, Our Lady Of The Assumption School, generously put on a fundraiser for our Protect With Heart project. The school received over $500 in donations! THANK YOU!! The students surprised us and made hearts that were compiled into these posters for each of our hospital units which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated.

With this donation we were able to send a box of scrub hats to the ICU at Duke University Hospital in North Carolina ❤️ The motto of Our Lady of Assumption School is "Hands to Serve, Hearts to Love". As you can see, the hands and hearts of these students brought so many smiles to the ICU at Duke University and to our colleagues where their beautiful posters now hang ❤️
