Brown House on H has been dressing the women of Sacramento for well over three decades. From its humble origin in Land Park (in, you guessed it, a brown house!), its time in the Lanai shopping center, to its time at Alhambra and H, to its years in Loehmann's Plaza, and now back in East Sacramento on H Street, owner Doris Pittell has been at the wheel. In August of 1986, when Brown House opened in

Loehmann's Plaza, it evolved from a sample store to a true women's clothing store specializing in the
very best fashion from markets like New York, Dallas and Los
Angeles. Brown House customers are also lifelong friends, returning over and over because of our integrity and forthright salesmanship. We would rather make a friend and customer that a sale...both if possible! Over the last few years, we have been known to dress the most lovely
mothers of the bride and groom. But we also carry a very large selection of jeans and all the trimmings! Belts,
tops, sweaters and T's! Come in and see what we're up to next!
