It's been exactly three months since we moved into our house in Vermont and I think I have finally figured out the living room. I'm definitely old-fashioned when it comes to houses, so this open-concept layout has been a challenge! But it's comfortable, has lots of seating, and I have room for all my little collections, so I"m happy. (And blankets everywhere, because dogs.)

Next project is a gallery wall on either side of the mantel on the left. I have a few pieces already and it will be fun to source the rest 💙🩵💚💛

New to my booth today is this antique Ridgway black transferware serving plate in the pattern Indus. In addition to the wonderful shorebird center motif, I love the bamboo plant design around the edges and the integrated handles. The marks on the back indicate this design was registered in June of 1877, and the piece measures 10-1/4 in wide x 9 in tall. Price $98

I have been reframing vintage artwork and restoring vintage frames this week. I'm using these two sweet wood frames for paintings of our dogs Benny, who passed last year, and Olivia, and it got me thinking about Rowena O'Connor, the artist who painted them. Rowena was one of the first people to follow my tiny account in 2023, when I was just starting my vintage business, and I will never forget her friendship and kindness.

I was hoping to commission a painting of our new addition, Rufus, but Rowena has since left social media and is no longer taking commissions. I would love to get recommendations of artists who do pet portraits on paper (not digital or AI) so we can add a Rufus to our collection. ❤️ Thanks for any leads!

Mike went back to do a final clearout of our antique house in Massachusetts and look what he found in the attic! This adorable pottery set is child-sized (see last pic for scale) and features the cutest hand-painted bunny. So cute! This will be heading to my booth this week. 💙
