Saturday makes 4 years I have been the owner at this little consignment shop. I'm going to be completely honest, I just have not been feeling the excitement lately. It's my favorite time of the year, my birthday month and Halloween, and I've done 0 decorating at the store and haven't even put my Halloween stuff up at my house. And 4 years is a big deal! I bet quite a few people didn't think I'd make it this far, or accomplish the things I have. But your girl is tired. I've been feeling a little overworked and under appreciated lately. Business has not been great. I have some of the very best consignors and customers, but sometimes the negative just feels so heavy, it outweighs any positive.

I'm trying to not lose sight of my "why". Most of the time I love what I do. I love feeling like I'm helping families. I love being able to give back to my community. But at the end of the day, my family is my number 1 priority and sometimes it feels like I am sacrificing my health to keep this going. It feels like this place is taking way more than it's giving.

I'm not giving up. Not yet. But it does feel like this is a turning point. I hope that I can be filled with fresh energy and fresh perspective and I can hold on to my "why". If you are able, please stop by this weekend. I can use all the friendly faces I can get. We will be doing 40% off your purchase Friday and Saturday (excluding vendor items). Love you, mean it 🩷
